The LPA Coaching Certification Training teaches individuals how to coach others using the LPA Method and how to create safe, supportive and focused coaching environments using the Whole Advocate Model. (An Intensive option also helps individuals share their own stories as well as coaching others.)

Trainings are conducted one-on-one (or in small groups if participants are from the same organization or advocacy area) either virtually or in-person. If virtual, sessions are scheduled according to availability and total approximately 9 contact hours. If in-person, the training is best experienced over two days.

The LPA method is adaptable to a wide variety of contexts. The passionate individuals who have completed certification are independent consultants, staff of companies and nonprofits, and educators advocating for the environment, mental health, job seekers, veterans’ rights, LGBTQ+ equity, parent caregivers, nursing, nonprofits, rare diseases, performance, communication, health equity and other diverse advocacy areas.

Certified coaches who maintain their certification in good standing become part of a supportive community of professionals who receive ongoing support from LPA senior coaches, access to proprietary training materials and tools, ongoing development opportunities and refresher meetings, promotional support and more.
